Creative process
My artistic practice is rooted in the profound symbolic language of Mexican folk traditions, where memory, resilience, and sacred beauty converge. Through a fusion of ancestral techniques and contemporary visual storytelling, I create works that serve as both cultural offerings and intimate reflections—spaces where the past breathes into the present, and the personal becomes universal.
I am drawn to art’s capacity to act as a mirror of the soul, a sanctuary for memory, and a vessel for hope. Each piece I create is a meditation on the human condition—its fragility, its strength, its longing for connection. Whether through the meticulous placement of thousands of glass beads or the delicate cuts of paper exvotos, my work seeks to honor the invisible threads that bind us to each other, to the elements, and the sacred.
My practice maintains a constant dialogue between tradition and innovation, between the collective and the deeply personal. It is through this dialogue that I aim to create not only visual experiences, but spiritual encounters—art that embraces, remembers, and uplifts.
